Geoffrey Steward - Principal: | |||
Geoffrey Steward has been involved with the restoration of historic buildings for over thirty years. From Royal Apartments at Kensington Palace, Windsor and Buckingham Palaces to the Sultan of Brunei’s Palace in Bandar Sera Begawan in Brunei and King Hussein’s Palaces in Amman Jordan, he has worked around the world, and now lives in Atlanta, Georgia. His U.S. interior projects include the State Capitols in Ohio, Michigan, Alabama and Georgia, Biltmore House in Asheville, NC, and historically significant buildings in over twenty states. Andrew Compton, Operations Director:
Andy Compton is an extraordinary artist and craftsman who has worked in the fields of both historic and contemporary decoration for fourteen years and has been an important part of the IFACS team for most of this time. He is extremely skilled in all aspects of specialized decoration, restoration and conservation techniques, both historic and modern. Andy has extensive experience of managing projects of all sizes and is IFACS' senior project manager. Gregory Steward, Project Manager:
Greg Steward has worked in the fields of both historic and contemporary decoration for nine years and is a talented and experienced craftsman and artist. He has been an important member of the IFACS' team for this time and has additional experience working with other companies. He is a skilled and experienced project manager and is at present concentrating on the contemporary work of the company. Mary Aldrich, Project Manager:
Mary Aldrich is a talented and experienced craftswoman and artist. She has considerable experience in the world of historic decoration. She has been a valued member of the IFACS' team for nine years and is an excellent project manager. Our Craftspeople: Our principals head a team of highly trained and skilled artists and craftsmen and women who bring a wealth of talent and experience to the projects the company undertakes, whether these are historic or contemporary, lavish or modest. Through our association with The Biltmore House many members of our team have graduated from Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College with City and Guilds Certification. They travel anywhere in the country and all have considerable history with the company.
